Before my husband and I moved into our home, one of the things I missed most was my juicer. Most of our things had been packed away in storage and the thought of digging through a packed storage unit to find it didn’t seem appealing at all. So I waited. I waited until we moved to be able to start juicing again and I’ve been at it ever since!
My Dad bought this juicer for us a year or two ago from Amazon. I love it because it’s easy to use, put together, and clean. That’s HUGE for me. I can’t stand appliances that are hard to clean. Then I’ll never want to use it! If you know someone who wants a juicer, try gifting them with this one. They’ll love it!
One of my favorite things to juice has been carrots and apples. Both of them are sweet and packed with nutrients! For instance, carrots are filled with Vitamin A, biotin, fiber, and is known for helping to boost immunity. Which is perfect for this time of year because everyone’s going “flu crazy.” I don’t get flu shots, so I try to supplement with natural ways to combat cold and flu symptoms. Carrot juice is perfect for this!
Apples are a great source of protein and also calcium and vitamin A. In addition, I decided to add ginger because it’s known for killing bacteria and fighting against cold and flu symptoms entering the body. Again, perfect for this time of year! Last but not least, celery is great for our hair, nails, and skin. It also helps with digestion and overall health. Celery isn’t one of my favorite foods to eat, so juicing it is much more feasible for me.
