I don’t make hummus nearly as much as I should. I’m SO glad I made this. Y’all, I’m going to be eating this buffalo hummus dip all summer long.
I made it a few nights ago and I’ve eaten it two days in a row for dinner. Not necessarily alone… I paired it with sliced red peppers, carrots, and celery. I may or may not have eaten a few spoonfuls by itself…

What I love about this buffalo hummus dip is that it’s subtly spicy. I added 6 tablespoons of buffalo sauce, which for me was the perfect amount. The more you eat, the spicier it gets. Not too crazy though. I would definitely serve this at a party with no hesitation.
If you’re not really into spicy food, but enjoy the taste of buffalo sauce, try starting with 3-4 tablespoons and add more (or less) to taste. There’s nothing worse than making a dish that you can’t enjoy because it’s too spicy!

To make this tasty dip, you only need 8 ingredients! Of course, the main one being chickpeas. My husband, who doesn’t even like chickpeas (weird, I know) said it was good!
Until recently, I never really thought much about the toppings that go on hummus. For this particular one, I decided to go with olive oil, chopped red peppers, and sliced jalapenos.
They really made a difference! With every dip, I looked forward to tasting a bit of olive oil, the slight crunch of red peppers, and the occasional jalapeno slice.
So here’s the best part. It’s QUICK! Got unexpected guests coming over? Or did you forget to make something for the potluck at work? Buffalo hummus dip to the rescue!
It takes less than 10 minutes to put together and then BAM! It’s ready to eat. It would also make the perfect addition to a vegan charcuterie board!
I’m so excited to share this at gatherings! I’m confident that you’ll love it! Hungry yet? Get in the kitchen and start whipping this up! Let me know what you think in the comments below!
