How to make Mango Sweet Tea:
You’ll be glad to know that making this Mango Sweet Tea is pretty simple. The first thing you’ll want to do is gather all of your ingredients because there’s nothing worse that starting a recipe only to realize that you’re missing something. Lucky for you, you’ll only need a few ingredients.
Once everything is gathered, you can begin by heating 5 cups of water until you reach a boil. Once boiling, add your black tea bags and allow the tea to steep for at least 15 minutes.
You can transfer the tea to another bowl to steep if you’d like to use the same pot for next steps, or simply use another pot. It’s up to you!
In your pot, you’ll now begin to create the mango syrup. Add your frozen mango chunks to the pot along with 1 cup of water, a generous squeeze of lemon juice, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring consistently. You’ll notice the mixture thicken slightly and the sugar dissolve.
Transfer the contents to a blender along with an additional cup of water. Blend on high until the ingredients have been combined.
Next, add your steeped tea to a pitcher along with 1 cup additional cold water.
