Mango Syrup

Instructions

  • Bring water to a boil over high heat.
    5 cups water
  • Once boiling, add tea bags then let steep for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer the contents to a bowl.
    3 family size black tea bags
  • Using the same pot, make the mango syrup by adding frozen mango, 1 cup of water, lemon juice, and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring consistently.
    2 cups frozen mango chunks, 3 cups water, 1¾ cups organic cane sugar, juice from ½ a lemon
  • Once combined, remove from heat and transfer to a blender with 1 cup of water. Blend until combined.

  • Add the steeped tea to a pitcher, 1 cup additional water, then follow with the mango mixture, using a strainer to remove any large bits that may be present. Stir to combine, then transfer to the fridge to cool.

  • When ready, serve over ice and garnish with fresh mango slices (optional). Enjoy!
