neutral oil of choice for sautéing, 2 tsp minced garlic, ½ cup diced celery (small), ½ cup diced white onion, ½ tsp black pepper, salt to taste
Add in all dry seasonings, rice and vegetable broth. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil.
1 tsp dried oregano, 1 tsp dried thyme, ½ tsp chili powder, ½ tsp onion powder, cayenne pepper to taste, 1 cup white basmati rice, 1½ cups vegetable broth
Once the pot has reached a boil, immediately adjust the heat to low so that it can simmer.
After you've noticed that most of the liquid is gone, stir in the frozen Alpha Chik'n Strips and continue to let simmer until rice is fully cooked and fluffy. If by chance the rice has not finished cooking, add in a few more splashes of vegetable broth as needed and continue to simmer until cooked. 1 cup frozen Alpha Chik’n Strips
Once the rice is finished cooking and the Alpha Chik'n Strips have warmed through, remove the pot from the heat. Taste and add additional salt as needed. Plate and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy! fresh chopped parsley to taste for garnish
