Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

  • 1/2 cup white quinoa
  • 1 cup flax seed milk (or sub other plant milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • drizzle of agave (optional)
  • cinnamon (to taste)
  • toppings of choice (berries, nuts, seeds, etc.)


  • In a small sauce pan, add the quinoa, flax seed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and stir consistently. 
  • Once all liquid has dissolved, transfer cooked quinoa to a bowl and top with cinnamon, agave, and your toppings of choice. Enjoy!
