Easy Strawberry Basil Cocktail
This Strawberry Basil Cocktail is the perfect summer drink! Sweetened with perfectly ripe strawberries, a hint of basil and splash of your favorite bourbon!

- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 tbsp organic cane sugar
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice save lemon peel for garnish (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped leaves fresh basil plus more for garnish
- 1½ shots of bourbon or more to taste
- 1 heaping cup of ice plus more for serving
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until just combined. Should appear somewhat slushy-like.1 cup fresh strawberries, 1 tbsp organic cane sugar, 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2 tbsp chopped leaves fresh basil, 1½ shots of bourbon, 1 heaping cup of ice
- Once finished serve over ice and garnish with lemon peel (optional) and fresh basil.
