1 tbsp cornstarch+1/4 cup water to thicken(as needed, I only used half)
salt+pepper to taste
Instructions
Add all ingredients (except for fresh basil and cornstarch mixture) to a large pot. Bring to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and stir consistently to avoid sticking.
Once most of the liquid has been absorbed, stir in cornstarch mixture a little at a time in order to reach desired thickness, keeping in mind you may not need the whole mixture.
Stir in roughly chopped basil and mix until combined.
Garnish each serving with more fresh basil and enjoy!
