Sautee garlic and onion in a large pan, then add in milk, broth, and red beans.
Stir in remaining seasonings and bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and stir consistently to avoid sticking.
Add in cornstarch and water mixture a little at a time to reach desired consistency (whole mixture will likely not be necessary). Remove from heat and enjoy!
Turmeric Rice
Add all ingredients to a pot, cover, and bring to a boil.
Once a boil has been reached, reduce to a simmer and stir. Add in additional water or broth in 1/2 cup increments as necessary if rice is not yet cooked.
