I love strawberry sauce! Prior to this, I had never made it before. One morning I woke up and wanted pancakes. I usually stuff and top them with fresh fruit, but there was one problem… I didn’t have any! The only thing I could think of was the frozen fruit my husband and I usually use for smoothies. I knew there had to be SOMETHING I could do with them. I only had about half a bag (maybe less) and I couldn’t find any recipes online that fit my needs of using so few strawberries and frozen ones at that! After reviewing a few recipes, they all seemed pretty consistent with ingredients. I knew that I didn’t want it to be too sweet, but sweet enough that I didn’t need to use syrup. I found the winning combination! This strawberry sauce is so easy and only involves 4 ingredients! Yep, that’s right FOUR! Needless to say, I’ll definitely be making this again. I think I’ll use it to top a vegan “cheesecake” next! YUM!
